Saturday, 7th Sep 2019 10:31

Blues loanee Anthony Georgiou was a second-half sub as Cyprus drew 1-1 at home with Kazakhstan in a Euro 2020 qualifier, while Armando Dobra could add to his Albania U19s caps later today.

Georgiou, who is with the Blues until January from Tottenham, won his seventh full cap as a 58th minute sub.

Dobra and Albania’s U19s play the first of two friendlies against Bosnia Herzogovina later today. The 18-year-old attacker has previously won two U19s caps.

Meanwhile, Idris El Mizouni didn’t join up with his Tunisia U23s team-mates ahead their 1-0 Africa Cup of Nations defeat in Cameroon yesterday afternoon, having played for the Blues in the Leasing.com Trophy game against Spurs on Tuesday, and it’s yet to be decided whether he will be involved in the second game on Tuesday.

Keeper Adam Przybek was an unused sub as the Wales U21s beat Belgium 1-0 in Wrexham, former Blues striker David Johnson’s son Brennan the scorer of the goal.
