Hamstring gone...
Oh dear, Joshua Zirkzee.
His game is over after pulling up and holding his hamstring.
The Dutchman clutched the back of his leg and sat down on the turf before being helped off the pitch by medical staff.
Rasmus Hojlund replaces the injured Zirkzee up front.
Patrick Dorgu and Mason Mount also come on for Harry Amass and goalscorer Alejandro Garnacho.
GOAL! Newcastle 2-1 Man United: Harvey Barnes
WHAT A WAY TO START THE HALF!
Harvey Barnes gives Newcastle the lead again!
Valentino Livramento drills a low ball across the box and it finds Jacob Murphy, who is running into the back post.
Murphy just reaches the ball before it goes out and he slots it back across goal for Barnes to tap home.
Man United trail three minutes into the second half.
Back underway!
Things are back underway at St. James' Park.
This game was the first time since April 2024 (v Chelsea) that Manchester United conceded the opener in the first half of a Premier League away game but went into the break either level/leading.
However, they have only gone on to win two of their last 15 league away games that have been level at half time (D6 L7).
Can they defy that stats today? We'll find out over the next 45...
Half time
There goes the half-time whistle.
It's not been a thriller but we've seen two goals.
Man United have come under a lot of threat from the Newcastle attack, however, their counters have been impressive.
Alejandro Garnacho equalised for the Red Devils after Sandro Tonali's brilliant volley opened the scoring.
Ruben Amorim will be pleased with the fight shown from his side to stay in the game at 1-0 and get back into it.
Final stages
We're almost at half time at St. James' Park.
Newcastle have continued where they left off after conceding, putting plenty of pressure on Man United.
Joelinton has seen a shot blocked and Alexander Isak is still causing all sorts of problems for the Red Devils.
Leny Yoro has just been booked for a scuffle in the box, so he joins Manuel Ugarte on a yellow card.
GOAL! Newcastle 1-1 Man United: Alejandro Garnacho
MAN UNITED ARE LEVEL!
After being peppered at one end, they break away to the other and Alejandro Garnacho scores!
Diogo Dalot launches the counter and slots in the Argentinian, who pokes into the bottom corner.
Out of nowhere, United are back into this game.
It has come just 10 minutes before the break and 25 minutes since their last effort at the Newcastle goal.
Huge save
Now that's how to bounce back, Altay Bayindir!
The Man United goalkeeper pushes away a cross and then flies to his left to deny Alexander Isak.
Isak finds the ball at his feet in the box and smashes a shot at goal, but he's denied from close range.
The Swede then clips a loft cross to the back post, which is eventually cleared away by the United defence.
Newcastle are putting on some pressure as they push for a second, with the visitors only just surviving.
It's happened again...
Manchester United have now conceded the opening goal in a Premier League game on 19 occasions this season.
That's the Red Devils' joint-most in a single campaign in the competition (also 19 in 2013-14).
It also means Altay Bayindir doesn't get a clean sheet.
Six of the last seven goalkeepers to make their first Premier League start for Man United have kept a clean sheet, including Andre Onana who has been dropped today.
However, Bayindir now joins Dean Henderson as the only two of the last eight United shot-stoppers to concede.
GOAL! Newcastle 1-0 Man United: Sandro Tonali
AND JUST LIKE THAT, NEWCASTLE SCORE!
Man United lose the ball in their own half and Newcastle pounce, with Sandro Tonali finishing superbly!
Alexander Isak gets the assist and it's brilliant as he flicks up the ball and passes it over Leny Yoro's head towards Tonali.
The Italian then unleashes a perfect volley past Altay Bayindir into the bottom corner.
25 minutes gone and the hosts lead!
Slow tempo
Things aren't exactly happening quickly in this game.
Man United have just had a spell on the ball looking to probe, with the home fans trying to push their side to press.
Newcastle then take over and aim to find a way through, but they're unsuccessful and the atmosphere flattens.
We're in need of something to spark this match to life.
Manuel Ugarte has been booked though, with Luis Suarez the only Uruguayan with more in a single campaign - 10.
Liquid football
That might be the best football Man United have played all year.
Bruno Fernandes and Joshua Zirkzee play a neat first-time one-two on the edge of the box, with Zirkzee finding space.
But his powerful strike is saved by Nick Pope!
There have been chances at both ends so far, so it definitely seems like we're in for an entertaining one.
Fernandes has already created two chances, with his 77 for the season overall being a joint-high in the Premier League.
Checked and cleared
Joshua Zirkzee appeals for a penalty for handball...
The Dutchman tries to flick the ball back into the box after a lofted Diogo Dalo cross and it hits Jacob Murphy.
He then shouts towards the referee and there's a nervy hush from the home fans as play continues.
However, VAR takes a look and doesn't intervene, with the ball hitting Murphy's elbow next to his body.
We're just over 10 minutes into this clash.
Early pressure
A couple of minutes in and Newcastle have already had a goal ruled out for offside by the linesman.
The flag went straight up after Joelinton headed in, and Kieran Trippier did stray off in the build-up.
Jacob Murphy has also struck just wide of the post.
Looking at the Man United team again, this is the first Premier League game where Andre Onana won't feature since the final day of the 2022-23 season (David de Gea vs Fulham).
Meanwhile, Harry Amass is the fourth youngest player to start a top-flight match for Man Utd (aged 18 years, 28 days).
He's behind Mason Greenwood (17y 223d), Federico Macheda (17y 253d) and Phil Neville (18y 21d).
Kick-off!
We're underway at St. James' Park!
After Chelsea failed to win at home to Ipswich, Newcastle can move up into the top four with three points here.
And they'll fancy their chances against a changed Manchester United side that doesn't include Andre Onana.
Altay Bayindir is making his Premier League debut instead.
Explaining Onana's omission, Ruben Amorim told Sky Sports: "You have to see the context.
"Sometimes you have to push the player and sometimes you have to disconnect. Tomorrow, he will be in training. I think he was OK [when he was told] because I explained.
"You don’t need to like, but you understand. The mental aspect is important. It's just one game. Tomorrow is a new life."
Howe latest
Newcastle will be without manager Eddie Howe this afternoon after he was taken to hospital on Friday.
The Magpies boss has been ill and it means his assistant Jason Tindall will be on the touchline against Man United.
Speaking about Howe, Tindall told Sky Sports: "He's not been well this week and he went into hospital on Friday evening.
"Everybody wishes him the best and hopefully, he'll be back soon."
When asked whether Howe will have any input this afternoon, he added: "I think it'll be very difficult when you've been ill all week to have the kind of input he'd normally have.
"But the way we work, we know the expectations, we've got a fantastic group of players who know the expectations and the demands that the manager and everyone else will put on them.
"So it's important they put on a performance that the manager would be proud of."

'I love this club'
Virgil van Dijk has scored more Premier League goals than any other centre-back since his Premier League debut in September 2015 (24).
John Terry (27) is the only defender with more headed goals in Premier League history than the Dutchman (18).
He's been speaking to Sky Sports about the game after his late winner moved the Reds ever closer to the title.
And he also hinted at a possible contract announcement after Mohamed Salah said 'hopefully he will be next'.
Van Dijk said: “I can tell you I'm very proud today to captain my 100th game for Liverpool. It was an emotional day because of the Hillsborough anniversary, so that was the main focus.
"We wanted to get three points and take a step closer to all of our dreams, not just us, but everyone connected to Liverpool FC.
"Everybody knows I love this club, let’s see what next week looks like.”
Full time!
It's all over! Liverpool have beaten West Ham!
Virgil van Dijk's late header wins it for the Reds.
They're now only SIX POINTS away from the Premier League title after moving further clear of Arsenal.
The game is also over at Molineux and Stamford Bridge as Wolves beat Spurs 4-2 and Chelsea draw 2-2 with Ipswich.
Wow, those were some dramatic games!
Next up, Newcastle take on Manchester United.
Amidst the chaos
Along with all of the drama, Wolves have scored again.
And, of course, it's Matheus Cunha who has it after his controversial comments and spats with fans on social media.
They're now 4-2 up against Spurs and set to win their fourth game in a row, moving up to 16th in the table.
After scoring, Cunha points at his ear and taps his badge while walking right up to the Wolves supporters behind the goal.
The full-time whistles are about to blow...
GOAL! Liverpool 2-1 West Ham: Virgil van Dijk
THAT'S HOW YOU RESPOND!
VIRGIL VAN DIJK HEADS IN FOR LIVERPOOL!
Only three minutes after his involvement in the comical own goal, Van Dijk wins it for his side!
Alexis Mac Allister sends in a corner and his skipper wins the header, beating Alphonse Areola.
Anfield has erupted.
GOAL! Liverpool 1-1 West Ham: Andy Robertson
WEST HAM HAVE EQUALISED!
IT'S AN OWN GOAL BY ANDY ROBERTSON!
Robertson turns and screams at Virgil van Dijk after the two defenders run into eachother's paths in the box.
The two come together and deflect the ball onto each other, with the Scotsman having the last of the touches.
The Reds have three minutes to fight back now...
GOAL! Wolves 3-2 Tottenham: Richarlison
COULD SPURS HAVE A CHANCE?!
They're back to within one goal of Wolves at Molineux.
It means as we enter the final five minutes, they'll be fighting to try and claim a point.
Richarlison has come off the bench to score his first goal since January and give his side some hope.
GOAL! Chelsea 2-2 Ipswich: Jadon Sancho
THERE'S THE GOAL CHELSEA NEEDED!
THEY'RE LEVEL AGAINST IPSWICH!
Enzo Maresca's side have been peppering the Tractor Boys with shots and finally, they've found a way through.
Jadon Sancho has scored his first goal since December.
Cole Palmer passes a short corner to Sancho on the edge and he superbly curls into the back of the net!
Alex Palmer stood no chance!
Final stages
Things are finely poised at Anfield and Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are putting Ipswich under so much pressure, firing shots away and totally dominating the ball.
The Blues have had 25 shots at the visitors' net this afternoon.
But they're running out of time to get back into this, with Ben Johnson's first-half header separating the sides.
As for Liverpool, they're still leading but the atmosphere is pretty tense as West Ham remain in the game.
Under pressure
Liverpool will still feel they need another goal...
Jarrod Bowen has just come very close to equalising for West Ham, racing straight through one-on-one with Alisson.
He tries to clip over the Reds goalkeeper but the ball strikes his face and bounces away.
Alisson then tips a shot from Aaron Wan-Bissaka away as Graham Potter's side put on some pressure.
With 20 minutes to go, the Hammers are still in this.
GOAL! Wolves 3-1 Tottenham: Jorgen Strand Larsen
SO MUCH FOR THAT COMEBACK!
Wolves have regained their two-goal lead already!
Jorgen Strand Larsen has his fifth goal in his last four games, and that may well wrap things up.
Spurs will have wanted to take some momentum and equalise after getting a goal back, but they've conceded instead.
Cristian Romero is beaten to a long ball by Rayan Ait Nouri and he passes across to find Strand Larsen who taps home.
Wolves are two up with 25 minutes to go.
